Darzi and Nicholson tour the West Midlands
As part of the national review Our NHS, Our Future, which influences our strategy locally, the review author Lord Darzi and NHS chief executive David Nicholson have been visiting Strategic Health Authorities across the country.
They have been talking to NHS staff and stakeholders about implementing their local visions and looking at outstanding examples of modern healthcare delivery.
Lord Darzi, who launched the review ‘High Quality Care For All' last June, attended the West Midlands SHA with David Nicholson, in October 2008. There they visited the Keelinge House General Practice Surgery in Dudley and Stourbridge Health and Social Care Centre.
The West Midlands Vision, entitled ‘Implementing the Next Stage Review’ was presented at this key event, and is now available as a download.
