Looking to the Future: Public briefings to be held and new newsletter available
01 August 2011
The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is hosting two briefing sessions to update and involve patients and the public on the changes to local hospital services.
The Looking to the Future briefing sessions will be held on:
- 15 August, from 6pm - 7pm, at the Shropshire Education and Conference Centre, Royal Shrewsbury Hospital
- 17 August, from 6pm - 7pm, at the Education Centre, Princess Royal Hospital
The events will be hosted by Adam Cairns, Trust Chief Executive, and will give people an opportunity to view the preferred option for the location of inpatient head and neck services and women and children’s services when they move to the Princess Royal Hospital. He will also be explaining how we plan to work with patients, families, carers and the public on more detailed plans of what the facilities will look like.
Places at both sessions are limited so please contact the Foundation Trust office on 01743 261473 or email members@sath.nhs.uk if you would like to attend.
Don’t worry if you are unable to attend, you can find out more about the changes and how you can get involved in helping to shape the future of our hospitals by visiting our website: www.ournhsinshropshireandtelford.nhs.uk or picking up a copy of our new quarterly newsletter ‘Looking to the Future’, which is available at both hospitals or from the website www.sath.nhs.uk
The best way to be kept updated on the changes to your local health services is to become a public member of the Trust. For more information about becoming a member call 01743 261473, go to www.sath.nhs.uk/about-us/nhsft/members or email members@sath.nhs.uk
